i have a 20 yr old water heater. works ok, probably going to explode at some point and kill my ass, but otherwise no huge need to replace now

i can get a nice new one installed with rebate etc. for 700. thinkin about going ahead and doing it since most water heaters now are going more expensive thanks to california regulations that all manufacturers are adhering by.

is 700 installed for a 50 gallon tank good?

I'm a longtime lurker and rarely post but would like to start up a cigar thread.

I've recently gotten into bourbon and cigars and have been trying different cigars lately.

What's your go to cigar? I'm a fan of the Nicaraguan blends and darker wrapper cigars. Some of my favs are:

Cohiba Nicaraguan
AJ Fernandez New World
Anything La Flor Dominica (chapter 1 especially)
San Cristobal

Any recommendations on medium full to full flavor cigars?

My go to bourbons currently are Eagle Rare...

So in case you missed it TMB has a great new logo. Some expressed interest in purchasing a shirt with the logo dvnasty works for someone who could make the shirts. I work at HQ of a very large company, probably around 2,000 work on site. There are multiple ways to enter the building, all of which are manned by security desks where you have to scan in using your ID badge.

Just got out of a town hall meeting at work. They emphasized that we wear our ID badges throughout the day so others can clearly see it to identify that we are an employee.

I despise wearing it. I think it is just a tier below phone belt clips. I keep the badge in my phone case so I...

Are there any utility companies that aren't awful? Landlord switched gas services and the technician that was supposed to come out today called my cell phone while I was in the other room. Walked up to my door and put a note on it saying that I wasn't home.
