Since I won't be in Atlanta for the opener, I figured I should get aggressive in the kitchen. What's on your menu for this weekend?

I will be doing wings three ways - grilled, fried, baked with 3 different sauces (TBD). Wife is making tomato pie and a Mexican street corn salad.

Have a few bottles of natural wine and then it's Blade and Bow bourbon for the Bama-FSU game. Probably eating a weed gummy at some point as well.

I am headed to Austin for ACL in September. Originally it was just going to be for the festival but I scheduled some work out there and some time off and will now be in Austin for a little over 3 weeks. I have been there a few times before, but never for such an extended stay. Looking for suggestions on things to do. I will be staying downtown at the Driskill. On the list so far:

Barton Springs
Food: Salt Lick, Hudson's, Hula Hut, and Home Slice (when out on South Congress)
Golf (at least...

ATX, ACL, SXSW, TMB, IDK, LMBO

- Bar website shows the lawyer/vehicle owner has been practicing since '95, so he's at least in his late forties
