I think it's about time we get this season figured out.

Make them real, keep em hot.

1. LSU loses 2 out of conference games
2. Stanford makes the playoff
3. Butch Jones, Brian Kelly, and Kevin Sumlin are all gone before November and the Gruden race is unseasonbly hot
4. TCU wins the big 12 but is again shut out of the playoff
5. Alabama doesn't go undefeated
6. An ACC team wins the national championship again
7. Baker Mayfield loses most of the season due to injury trying to blank his own...

I am headed to Austin for ACL in September. Originally it was just going to be for the festival but I scheduled some work out there and some time off and will now be in Austin for a little over 3 weeks. I have been there a few times before, but never for such an extended stay. Looking for suggestions on things to do. I will be staying downtown at the Driskill. On the list so far:

Barton Springs
Food: Salt Lick, Hudson's, Hula Hut, and Home Slice (when out on South Congress)
Golf (at least...

It's that time of year again, folks. Hopefully some of the knowledge gained from last year was retained and newer, more bold ideas will be applied this season. I'm heading to pick up supplies after work since I won't have time tomorrow due to the games, and I'm heading to the lake right after work Friday. Looks like the last thread got lost, but it's football season and no better reason to get those Crockpots going. If people have recipes they want me to add to the post, send them my way and I will.

Anyways, let's get this thing going...

Mississippi Roast
Put chuck roast in crock pot, Sprinkle with Hidden Valley ranch dressing, add McCormick Au Jus mix, a stick of butter, 5 pepperoncini peppers. DO NOT ADD WATER. Cook on low for 7-8 hrs
