My 18 year old just spent the last 10 minutes on a rambling soliloquy about this show and it's latest movie. He's half a moron (mother's side,) so I still don't get it. WTF am I missing? WTF is it about? Is because I'm old?

I'm going to be in KC and Manhattan next week and have two open days exploring your cities. Can I get some food and drink recommendations?

Today is an American classic--bacon, egg, and cheese on a roll. The NY staple is to add salt, pepper, and ketchup. Delicious.

I had the bacon chopped to achieve maximum BPB (bacon per bite) and toasted the roll.

I have iced coffee and water drink to wash it down. Haven't decided on what sauce yet. I'll report back later.

Anyone here gotten Lasik/Lasek eye surgery? Thinking about having it done after grad school before I start working. My optomologist said I was a good candidate and I've been wanting to do it for a while. Also, how much did it cost?

Thinking of taking a trip over winter break with the girlfriend to the Bay area. Want to do a few days in SFO and then a few days and Napa but wanted to keep it fairly reasonable. Any hotel recs would be greatly appreciated.
