The Official Crockpot Thread - Home of Lazy Cooking
Looks like the last thread got lost, but it's football season and no better reason to get those Crockpots going. If people have recipes they want me to add to the post, send them my way and I will.
Anyways, let's get this thing going...
Mississippi Roast
Put chuck roast in crock pot, Sprinkle with Hidden Valley ranch dressing, add McCormick Au Jus mix, a stick of butter, 5 pepperoncini peppers. DO NOT ADD WATER. Cook on low for 7-8 hrs

Week 10 Rankings:

Yes, Alabama and Penn St. are still 1-2. If you look at the composites from last week to this week, they are much closer to the rest of "the pack". #1-10 are all within a game of each other. With such razor thin margin between them, there should be more shakeup if anybody at the top slips up.
Also, speaking of razor thin margins, check out composites for #14-23. My rankings are set up for quite a bit of volatility over the next few weeks....

Decided to just do a weekly thread.
Top 25 and ties:

Georgia by one Victory Point over Alabama for the only two teams with 8 wins. OSU and PSU tied, like a one point game would predict. Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Washington and Clemson the next 4. Wisconsin's wins are still not very impressive with a 10.63 Average VP and they haven't played great teams either, with a .483 Avg Opp Win %.
Speaking of unimpressive wins, Miami sitting at a 9.57 Avg VP.

Nine NFL seasons have taken a toll on Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson's body.
