Not sure if anyone else keeps up with this website, but I think a lot of people on the board would be interested in the type of stuff they publish. A great stop to fill the Grantland-sized hole in your web browsing.

Reason I bring it up is this: http://bittersoutherner.com/the-best-southern-albums-of-2015 which I now look forward to every year. I basically rely on it to catch me up with all the non-mainstream music I missed over the year.

hello

so i may be moving to your fair city in the next few months but i know nothing of boston apart from really good sandwiches i had in chinatown

this is a vague request, but literally any information about the city is useful - neighborhoods to live/avoid living that are T-accessible (apparently i have to pay a months rent to a broker?), things to see & do, places to eat/drink, general tips, what to do to acclimate quickly, etc.
