Here's a summary of favorite things from the old thread:

1. buy_dont_lease - roasted poblano and corn slaw

Never been. My wife and I are going to visit friends in DC mid April and are thinking of heading to NYC for two nights. I want to see Ground Zero and some of the other landmarks, just trying to talk myself into it.

I heard taking the double decker tour bus thing is a pretty good idea.

This is a no brainer for some folks but I hate big city's. Obviously don't mind just visiting though.

Alright. I'm just gonna go through and make a list of 20 dogs in the thread that I think deserve nomination. Then, the board will vote on the 20 and the top 10 vote getters will be in the official TMB dog hall of fame.

If anyone else wants to be part of the nomination committee, let me know. I don't want to do this by myself bc then I'll get all the shit when everyone disagrees.

CLIFFS:

- 28 year-old dude is staying with friends on Dauphin Island (just outside of Mobile) over the weekend
- He leaves Dauphin Island at 6:00 a.m. Monday morning "to go get his truck in Mobile"
- He's found dead by a construction worker at 3:30 Monday afternoon in Mobile in the driver's seat of a BMW owned by a Mobile criminal defense lawyer parked on the side of the road
- Bar website shows the lawyer/vehicle owner has been practicing since '95, so he's at least in his late forties
