I thought this thread was helpful so I'm bringing it back.

Buddy of mine from college tried to kill himself last week. Went thru a very bad breakup, apparently decided to kill himself to get back at his ex. It's a messed up situation. He posted this long thing on Facebook about why. I get texted asking if I know where he lives now, they call the local cops, who find him before he does anything and put him in 72-hr suicide watch. I'm waiting for updates now.

I really really enjoyed this film. Probably will wind up #1 movie of the year for me.

I'm choosing to run for more than myself. I'm using my running to help save kids' lives by fundraising for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as I train. I'm running for kids who might be too sick to run today, but who could one day be running alongside me because the money I raised helped find a cure for childhood cancer.

Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live....
