if your local market acquired a franchise? Some context: Portland might be getting a MLB team, most of this market is split between being Mariners or Giants fans with the rest being a spattering of random fans of out of region teams. As a lifelong Detroit Tigers fan I couldn’t imagine just giving up on them because Portland gets a team. Your Thoughts?

I am going to be out in Denver this summer and wanted to cap off my trip with a road trip to a national park. Since I will be out west and have a car, I'm willing to drive for an entire day to go somewhere. My initial gut instinct tells me to go to Yellowstone (it'll be late July).

Fan of big trees and a hike with a great view.

I thought this thread was helpful so I'm bringing it back.


Buddy of mine from college tried to kill himself last week. Went thru a very bad breakup, apparently decided to kill himself to get back at his ex. It's a messed up situation. He posted this long thing on Facebook about why. I get texted asking if I know where he lives now, they call the local cops, who find him before he does anything and put him in 72-hr suicide watch. I'm waiting for updates now.

My gf got a job offer in Colorado Springs and we are seriously considering moving there at the end of May. We would probably stay in an apartment the first year and have found a really nice place near Garden of the Gods which would be close to schools for me and near her workplace. Any members here that live in Colorado Springs or visit frequently? Tell me more pls
