I was at the gym tonight and was talking to a guy I know who works there. He had just finished instructing an adult beginner swimming class. He said there are enough people to sign up that they offer it year round, which kind of surprised me.

It feels like about 10,000 days since we’ve heard any new music from Tool (puns!), but today...

i have a 20 yr old water heater. works ok, probably going to explode at some point and kill my ass, but otherwise no huge need to replace now

i can get a nice new one installed with rebate etc. for 700. thinkin about going ahead and doing it since most water heaters now are going more expensive thanks to california regulations that all manufacturers are adhering by.

is 700 installed for a 50 gallon tank good?

My mom is moving there after 30 years in Florida. Need to learn about the city esp. food.
