This is my first week with the Technivorm brewer and baratza vitruoso grinder system. I brew Kean coffees from Africa and Intelligentsia coffees from latin america. I'm getting pretty bad as I installed a reverse osmosis system in my house just to get the right mineral content in my water. I take my brew seriously -- and it's almost out of hand.

Raising Chickens Thread, our chickens taste more like chicken than your chicken
Gotta start this thread up again, was doing good for a month or so there before the crash
My 4 Pullets are doing good, about 3.5 weeks old now
the golden sexlink seems to be growing slower than the others, but seems all healthy and happy
Plymouth Rock is the biggest so far, RIR and Silver Wydonnette are about the same size
I'll post pics later when I figure out how,
just got done building their tractor coop last night, all I gotta do is paint it now

Home Buyin/Maintenance Thread - Where most of us are 30ish but act 47
i have a 20 yr old water heater. works ok, probably going to explode at some point and kill my ass, but otherwise no huge need to replace now
i can get a nice new one installed with rebate etc. for 700. thinkin about going ahead and doing it since most water heaters now are going more expensive thanks to california regulations that all manufacturers are adhering by.
is 700 installed for a 50 gallon tank good?
