Look at me: Today is my 17th anniversary with my company. I was hired right out of college at age 22 as an operations supervisor working night shift with Tuesdays and Wednesday off and worked my way up from there.

I know there's more money to be made by moving around, but I've never seriously considered leaving. I don't know anyone else in my circle of friends/family who have been with the same company that long, but it's not unusual...
