I am headed to Austin for ACL in September. Originally it was just going to be for the festival but I scheduled some work out there and some time off and will now be in Austin for a little over 3 weeks. I have been there a few times before, but never for such an extended stay. Looking for suggestions on things to do. I will be staying downtown at the Driskill. On the list so far:

Barton Springs
Food: Salt Lick, Hudson's, Hula Hut, and Home Slice (when out on South Congress)
Golf (at least...

ATX, ACL, SXSW, TMB, IDK, LMBO

Everbank agreed to a stadium naming rights deal. At least we have that going for us at not having a naming sponsor was getting pretty embarrassing.

So the ipad3 thread got me thinking, what is the future of technology? Weird question but what else can/will be done? It's just crazy how much it has evolved in the past 20 or so years, and 20 years from now kids will be like "wow what a piece of junk" when talking about a 50" 3D TV and iphones.

TVs- Even thinner? 4d? Better specs (seems obvious)
Phones- Smaller? More powerful?
Blu Ray- What about these guys? Anything else out there?
