I thought this thread was helpful so I'm bringing it back.


Buddy of mine from college tried to kill himself last week. Went thru a very bad breakup, apparently decided to kill himself to get back at his ex. It's a messed up situation. He posted this long thing on Facebook about why. I get texted asking if I know where he lives now, they call the local cops, who find him before he does anything and put him in 72-hr suicide watch. I'm waiting for updates now.

Just got an ASUS laptop, i7 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD. Was delivered Monday. This morning I woke up to it making a clicking noise then a blue screen of death. It restarted and opened up in a diagnosis screen but wouldn't run anything from there.

Bad HDD is most likely the issue, no?

Anyone on TMB a good poker player?
