so i may be moving to your fair city in the next few months but i know nothing of boston apart from really good sandwiches i had in chinatown

this is a vague request, but literally any information about the city is useful - neighborhoods to live/avoid living that are T-accessible (apparently i have to pay a months rent to a broker?), things to see & do, places to eat/drink, general tips, what to do to acclimate quickly, etc.

Not sure if there is one of these going around, but I've always been a huge sports nut. Started collecting again recently. Anybody have some cool stuff they collect or want to possibly trade off?

Buddy of mine from college tried to kill himself last week. Went thru a very bad breakup, apparently decided to kill himself to get back at his ex. It's a messed up situation. He posted this long thing on Facebook about why. I get texted asking if I know where he lives now, they call the local cops, who find him before he does anything and put him in 72-hr suicide watch. I'm waiting for updates now.

It has the corny moments of every sitcom with a laugh track, but on the quality scale of prime time sitcoms it sits somewhere in the middle. Not good enough for me to watch regularly, but I understand its appeal to some people.

It is clear to me that its e-reputation is generated by the small group of Community fanatics with small dick syndrome who campaign heavily on the internet.

That is all.

This site has really become a fantastic source of entertainment as of late. People bitch about everything and each other. I'll try and share some of my favorites from the last month or two.
