Re-watching The West Wing for the first time in years...halfway through the first season. I had forgotten how truly great this show was.

Was eating with a good friend of mine the other night and he started talking about this insurance/finance thing he's doing part-time on the side. The company's called Primerica.

Anyway, he starts telling me about how it works and how if he gets a couple people to start selling the stuff that he would get paid off of it. So I say, "So, it's a pyramid scheme?" And he says, "No, it's not one of those schemes." I just laughed and then :facepalm:

A little more specific than the travel thread and I found no other thread on the topic. Please feel free to share any and all info about popular Lake destinations.

That said, my buddies and I are trying to decide between getting a houseboat on Cumberland (KY) or just renting a place at Norris (TN). We’ve done Burton (Saban’s Lake) a few times, but my buddy sold his place down there and that drive is just too fucking much hungover on the way home.

I turned on CMT for the first time in a decade and a video for The Band Perry came on. The dudes in the band look 10,000x gayer than anyone in any other genre could ever hope to be. Couple that with the faggit tendencies of Keith Urban and the Rascal Flatts queers and I weep for the future.
