Obviously the guy to beat is Joey Chestnut. He's won 11 of the past 12 years, only losing in 2015 to Matt Stonie. He's only getting better as time passes, eating an unbelievable 74 hot dogs and buns last year. He's the Michael Jordan of competitive eating.

Matt Stonie comes in as the 2nd favorite by name only, as many (ok, just me personally) feel as though he doesn't pour his heart and soul into hot dog training anymore, instead focusing on his popular youtube channel. He only ate 40 last...
