Figured with pitchers and catchers reporting in a few days and mock drafts beginning to take place it was time to start a thread.

The dynasty league I'm in keeps 22-25 MLB guys and 13-15 MILB and has already had two trades.

The First was
Greinke for Robbie Ray and Ronald Acunda

The second trade was made by me was
Wade Davis for Bird, Hader and the 9th overall pick

It appears the old Horror movie thread was lost, so, here we go. Just started listening to "The Movie Crypt" podcast on Geeknation with Adam Green and Joe Lynch. Pretty good if you, like me, enjoy the stuff behind the final product.

Anybody invested in Bitcoin? By its design, I think it's a really interesting vehicle for wealth preservation similar to gold. Finite supply that cannot be diluted. It also seems to be a good alternative for individuals living in countries with worthless currency (i.e. Venezula) or countries threatening to do away with cash altogether (India).

There's a growing list of retailers that accept BTC as a form of payment, and markets are plenty fluid enough to buy and sell whenever you want....

I am headed to Austin for ACL in September. Originally it was just going to be for the festival but I scheduled some work out there and some time off and will now be in Austin for a little over 3 weeks. I have been there a few times before, but never for such an extended stay. Looking for suggestions on things to do. I will be staying downtown at the Driskill. On the list so far:

Barton Springs
Food: Salt Lick, Hudson's, Hula Hut, and Home Slice (when out on South Congress)
Golf (at least...

ATX, ACL, SXSW, TMB, IDK, LMBO

Cherry Pepper relish was good. First time the north does anything good.
